MISSION and VISION

For over 15 years, our international event “Marhaba Rome Festival” has connected together dancers, teachers and students from all over the world to share the same passion for oriental dance. We came into contact with extraordinary artists, we learnt new techniques and innovations in dance, hundreds of schools presented their works made with their students; and most of all we filled our hearts with joy, vitaly and lot of fun!

Marhaba competitions created a lot of exciting moments, involving many soloists, and groups of different agesm performing in different styles, carefully judged by international and national judges with great experience and professionalism.

Marhaba Rome Festival has always been a concentrate of colors, beauty and even fashion. In fact, Samira Fashion’s extraordinary touch always give to Marhaba a special original oriental flavor, guiding dancers and women to the right care to theirself and their beauty.

Our dream of making an event that everyone could follow, now it is true, especially for people who cannot take long journey.

In 2020 Marhaba On-Line version was born. Marhaba On-Line is not just a way to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic emergency, but it wants to be a parallel work that we will continue in the future, in order to maintain relationships with all our friends all over the world, who have been following us for a very long time.

The first edition was a great success that brought together 100 dancers and hosted the splendid Argentine dancer Angeles Cayunao.

With the second edition of 2021 we will have the great honor of hosting the wonderful dancer, master teacher, superstar Jillina Carlano that will teach for us 2 hours workshop full of technique, explanations and choreo breakdown.

The Marhaba cast continues with more than 20 Dance Teachers, some of them are very important in the italian Oriental Dance Community , they trained hundreds of students and new teachers. They have made a fundamental contribution to the growth of oriental dance in Italy; also there will be new teachers, new talents who are making a brilliant career in oriental dance and they will give you a lot of passion and professionality.

How you can participate on workshops?

It is very simple, you have the opportunity to take advantage of a FULL Package including all scheduled workshops, more than 40 hours of classes, including JILLINA’workshops.

You will be able to follow LIVE lessons from an EXCLUSIVE FACEBOOK group dedicated only to MARHABA ON-LINE 2021 participants. Classes will be available for viewing until AUGUST 2021, so NO LESSONS WILL BE MISSED!

During the LIVE you can chat with teachers and ask for more explanations on steps and passages.

How you can participate on Competition?

Competitions are optional and will have a separate participation fee. About this you will receive soon all informations by e-mail from Marhaba organization. So BE PREPARED , because it will be a roaring race that will last until May 30th!
